GH@W Success Story

Cashmere Coaching & Consulting builds a healthier business through the Good Health @Work Award programme.

Maureen Laws, founder of Cashmere Coaching & Consulting, joined the Good Health @Work (GH@W) programme as a solopreneur with a clear vision, to enhance her communication skills and increase the impact of her coaching and consultancy services. Her business supports individuals and organisations in overcoming challenges and achieving meaningful, lasting goals through practical, solution-focused coaching.

Personalised support through the GH@W Navigator Service.

To ensure the programme delivered maximum value, Maureen was paired with GH@W Navigator Laura Graham-Clarke. Together, they undertook an Organisational Health Assessment to identify which GH@W standards were most relevant to Maureen’s business, taking into account its size, structure and unique model.

Laura recommended that Maureen focus on three key standards to begin working towards her Bronze Award. One of the first steps involved using tools such as the “Wheel of Life” to explore how communication styles and cultural influences shape client relationships, a core component of Standard 1.

Strengthening feedback and focusing on wellbeing.

The pair also worked on developing a more structured method for collecting and applying client feedback. By reviewing Maureen’s current systems, Laura offered practical ways to make feedback more meaningful, not just for improving business performance, but also for enhancing Maureen’s own wellbeing.

Celebrating what’s going well and identifying areas for growth gave Maureen space to reflect, set intentional goals, and protect her work-life balance. The process helped reinforce her commitment to embedding wellbeing into her day-to-day business practices.

Bronze Award achieved and Silver in sight.

With tailored guidance and the right tools in place, Maureen successfully achieved her Good Health @Work Bronze Award. Now, with renewed energy and a clearer framework for continued improvement, she’s focused on the next step, working towards the Silver Award.

Working with Laura has been a great experience!” Maureen shared. “Her support was tailored to my needs, helping me to break down some of the finer details for the Bronze Award as a solopreneur. Laura was always approachable, and nothing was too much trouble. Her knowledge of the Good Health @Work requirements made the process so much more manageable. I’m looking forward to the next stage, working towards my Silver Award!
